Nina Wilén answers the paradoxical question of how to stabilize a state through external intervention without destabilizing sovereignty. This workshop will explore the interactions between the institutional and discursive dimensions of EU foreign policy. Confirmed participants include profs Vivien Schmidt (Boston University), Ruth Wodak (Lancaster University), Knud Erik Jørgensen (Aarhus University), Ben Rosamond (University of Copenhagen) and Thomas Diez (University of Tübingen).
