FROM STEM CELLS TO CORTICAL NETWORKS:
MECHANISMS OF DEVELOPMENT AND EVOLUTION OF THE CEREBRAL CORTEX
Welcome to our lab!
The major research goal in our laboratory is to understand the mechanisms controlling the development and evolution of the cerebral cortex, from stem cells to neuronal networks, from mouse to man. We combine several molecular and cellular approaches, including mouse genetics, in vitro assays, developmental neuroanatomy, and embryonic stem cells.
Our lab is part of the of the Institute of Interdisciplinary Research IRIBHM
at the Medical School of the University of Brussels (ULB)
