Konstanze Haubner

Konstanze Haubner is a scientist specialised in ice sheet models working for the PARAMOUR project (http://www.climate.be/php/users/klein/PARAMOUR/project.html).
She investigates changes of the Antarctic ice sheet and Totten glacier in particular on decadal time scales with the ice sheet models f.ETISh and BISICLES aiming to better predict Antarctica's contribution to sea level change.
Her work focuses on improving initialization techniques for the ice sheet models and to discuss predictability skills when coupling ice-ocean-atmosphere models.
She did her PhD at the Copenhagen University and the Geological Survey of Greenland and Denmark, where she investigated the impact of changes in atmosphere and ocean temperatures to Upernavik glacier, Greenland, by applying the ice sheet model ISSM.
