Gauthier Carnat
|
Gauthier Carnat obtained his master degree in
physical geography at the Université Libre de
Bruxelles in 2007. His thesis work was oriented
towards the sulfur cycle in sea ice and more
precisely the biogeochemical factors
controlling the production of dimethyl sulfide by
ice algae. Since then, Gauthier has
broadened his scope to include the sea
ice carbonate system and the exchange
of carbon dioxide and dimethyl sulfide at the sea
ice-atmosphere interface. From November 2011, he
also started to work with Frank
Pattyn and Jean-Louis Tison on
the physical and chemical properties of ice cores
from ice shelves in the framework of the
Belissima project. |
