Fanny Vanderlinden

After a master degree in geography, climatology at the Université catholique de Louvain, she started a PhD in 2015 at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and Université de Liège, supervised by Jean-Louis Tison and Bruno Delille. She is focusing on sea ice biogeochemistry with an emphasis on climate gases (CO2, methane, halocarbons) and sea ice-atmosphere fluxes of these gases in both Arctic and Antarctica?. She is measuring fluxes with chambers over the ocean, the ice and the snow in order to investigate how snow properties affect the gases sea ice-atmosphere fluxes.
