Faezeh Nick

Faezeh is a glaciologist. Her main research
interest is to understand the dynamics of calving
glaciers. Her present postdoctoral position at
the ULB under supervision of Frank
Pattyn, is a part of the ice2sea
project. Her research will aim to improve ice
flow models in order to represent accurately the
motion of the grounding line and quantify the
effect of stress transmission on the flow of
outlet glaciers. Faezeh’s previous research
positions, in Copenhagen and Durham, involved
numerical modelling of the Greenland outlet
glaciers. |
